Are the guys in the SO predetermined? Why dont teams use their best players?

OT is 4 on 4 as opposed to the regulation 5 on 5...S/O the coach can use whoever he wants its not predetermined...however sometimes they will throw guys that arent necessarily their best players to take the shot because they have better shootout record scoring percentages....

I had a bad day and shit like this happens when ur going bad......Blackhawks gave up the tying goal against me with 9 secs left and lost in a SO....just a brutal day for losing about 6.5 units......wouldve been a solid winning day of 2.4 had South Carolina/Blackhawks/Flyers not fuck me with no lube late in games
