The bats have not been good but (IMO), the pitching has been most shocking!

The Rays have had batting practice off the starters for 4 straight games now.

i agree sox SP has been bad. IMO though each game if the sox came up with just 1 clutch hit the series is different. even in the blowout it was close early and sox hitters simply didnt show up.

i tip my hat to Tampa cause when it counts they get the hits.

Yup, but even in game 2 when they kept coming back to take the lead or get close, the pitching simply could not stop T.B.

They score 8 in game 2 and lose and they score 4 in game 4 and lose. No pitching, none at all since game 1.

i agree. lester and beckett being no shows hurts. i wouldnt be surprised if the sox get shut out tonight. the bats are silent.

PS if they resign Tek it better be to a one or 2 year deal. i love the guy but he cant hit is way out of a brown paper back at this point

well they got 20mill off the books by getting rid of manny and lots of young talent. IMO the sox will be as good if not better in 09
