NHL (4-1) (+3.00 units)
Good afternoon fellas...split 1-1 yesterday after losing the 2nd POD. Looked good after the 1st period (no goals) but then opened up. Guess I am still happy the Habs won the game! They can score a ton..
TUESDAY POD:
COLORADO/CALGARY UNDER 5.5 -105...at first glance this game looks like a sure fire Over but I am going to side with history and take the Under. Both teams come in looking for their first win of the season. Colorado's two games have had 14 goals total and Calgary's have seen 15. That is a lot of goals/game (7.25) and that is why the general public is betting this sucker over. However, these teams will come out playing solid fundamental hockey in looking for their first win. Calgary's goalie, Kiprusoff has a 1.83 GAA in 5 career games against Colorado. The Avs goalie hasn't lost a game in 4 straight starts vs Calgary and should have another strong performance. I don't see many goals in this game but there is a realistic chance of 2-2 and overtime which is a winner. While this is a new season, the last 3 games this teams went at it last year resulted in 2 goals, 3 goals and 5 goals, respectively. As a matter of fact, 6 of the 8 matchups last year had 5 goals or less. Look for the trend to continue to tonight and the cash the Under with me!
