Someone mentioned at another site that there has typically been a lot of scoring early in the season. No lead is safe. Panthers were up 2-0 quick and that lead dissapeared quick. Atlanta was up 4-1 and Washington score 3 goals in about 8 minutes. Dallas was down 2 and tied it up in the last 5 minutes of the game. Going to try and grind it out with dogs.

These things can happen at any point of the season but I can agree to some extent about the higher amount of scoring. My take on it is that early in the season it takes teams who arent very good defensively to begin with a long time to settle in as far as giving up goals. But as for teams that are rock solid on defence and in gaoltending in general it comes second nature for them with a much smaller amount of shakiness....GL tomorrow man!!!
