for in the cubbies/fla game...the baseball fan in me wants a Cubs/Red Sox world series...(only if the Red Sox would go on to win)....the Red Sox fan in me that just wants to SEE them win a world series...believes the matchup vs Fla would favor boston much more than a matchup with the Cubs...(prior and wood scare me).....

Meteor-As a big Sox fan sure hope you are right about tonight.
On the other hand, if Sox win, what makes you think Marlins are good enough to reverse those two bad thrashings they took from Sox in June(only a miracle comeback when Marlins were down by 7 or 8 runs prevented a sweep)?

Totally agree - the Fish WILL win it all! Let's see - best record in baseball since late May, tons of speed, excellent defense, good power, decent starters, and solid relief. Of all the teams in the Championship Series they are the most balanced, well rounded team. And they are on a major roll! Can you say Anaheim in 2002...
