I went 2-2 last week in CFB but the loss was a 2* on Fresno which committed six turnovers in somehow losing straight up to a very poor Hawaii team. UNLV also lost, hanging tough (leading with 10 seconds left) until the end while I had wins with UCLA and Florida. The NFL weekend was shot when I lost a 2* on a Saints team whose kicker managed to score more points for the opposition than his own team. Onward....
1* Oregon -17
I went with UCLA as 17-point faves and I am going against them as 17-point dogs here. Oregon played USC tough for a little over one quarter before fading. They are a quality team with a great running game despite QB issues. UCLA beat up on an awful Wash State team but is still inexperienced and faces a very tough road crowd at Oregon. It wasn't that long ago that UCLA was a 59-point loser to BYU.
1* Stanford +6 1/2
I was impressed Stanford was able to hang with an extremely underrated Notre Dame team last week. They've been tough at home and already have a win over Oregon State. Arizona is overrated off a very soft schedule.
1* Wisconsin +6
This is the week I expect the Badgers to suck it up and smack an unbeaten team. Wisconsin dominated Michigan for three quarters and played Ohio State essentially even. They're not that bad although their QB is underperforming. Look for redshirt Freshman RB John Clay (future superstar) to get most of the carries and that will really improve the offense. Penn State is very good but not good enough to lay nearly a touchdown in Madison.
Opinions only:
Rutgers
Fresno State (they will kill a non-competitive Idaho team but I can't make this a full play after their weak showing last week)
NFL:
I'll write this one up later but am playing it now because the line could go all the way to -3.
