Chado's NHL Picks for Thursday!!!

Alrighty fellas NHL season is back to the daily basis starting Thursday night. As I have mentioned previously this year I am going to be doing something different than my last two NHL seasons of posting picks here. I am going to be making regulation wagers which including regulation moneylines or "ML push". This will be primarily with favorites to ensure that a lesser amount of my picks are involved in coin flip overtimes and shootouts. For underdogs I will most likely leave the OT included option because if the underdog forces OT (past regulation) its okay to let that ride because it will be at plus money with 50/50 coin flips providing profit in the long run. Now the key here is that for anyone that chooses to follow my plays there are only a few sportsbook that offer both regulation AND OT included options for NHL wagering. The one I know for sure that is available for BOTH Canadian and U.S. customers is 5Dimes.com and that is the one I will personally be using all season long and posting my picks and lines from. Unfortunately at this time I am unaware of all the other sportsbooks out there that offer both types of this kind of wagering. I will clearly indicate specifically what I am talking in each of my NHL threads so please note them carefully. Also please tread very lightly for the first month or so as I typically will start very slow to begin the season. All my picks all season long will be for one unit and one unit ONLY. 5Dimes.com releases the regulation lines on the day of the game with the OT included being posted the day/night before. As of right now this is all they show so I am posting this one now as the one option of wagering is currently available and the other will be available tomorrow (on game day). Lets get the ball rolling and start things off with these two selections:

Detroit Red Wings -1.5 (-110) PUCK LINE - OT included ML

Anaheim Ducks / San Jose Sharks UNDER 5.0 (-120) OT included

Will add the rest of my plays tomorrow morning (if any) when the regulation lines become available at 5Dimes....

The Leafs are going to be TERRIBLE this year. A total rebuilding process for the future and the future is NOT this season. With the loss of their Captain Mats Sundin who was pretty much all they had they are now left with practically NO ONE!!!
