With no Wed games, decided I'd post #'s for the 2 Thursday games.
I'll post picks tomorrow or tonight after some further capping but thought I'd share what I got.
Clemson @ Wake -2.5
More to look at but what I see from pure stats is Clem runs the ball a hell of lot better. Passing is even for each though Clem's passing D has giving up considerable more than Wakes, however Wake looks like they've played more running type teams vs throwing teams.
I agree w/ all that Coaching needs to be factored in this game along w/ some extra motivation for both Clem & their season makes or breaks w/ this game vs Wake wanting payback for last years a$$ whipping they got in Clemson. Running game should be key as it was last year. Can Wake control speed of Clemson RBs??
UAB @ Houston -18
Without delving too deep on this game, the FAV has covered last 4 times & 5 of 6. Pretty handily too. Houston on stats just barely beats out UAB in running & passing games. Line looks inflated & maybe so w/ Hous beating ECarol. Let down? Throw in UAB has played Tenn, SCarol & Tulsa & they have played tough competition. Lean to pts but more to check out.
As an FYI, my #'s said Troy -10 FAV over FAU...hate when that happens since I didn't post it but oh well.
