guys im right with ya....i live 5 minutes outside the city....when the series was 2-2 i was just hoping for the Sox to win 1 of 2 and push it to 7 with Pedro on the hill.....*IF* they win today...tomorrow night in the city is gonne be INSANE...a thursday night, the kickoff for the weekend for many of the college kids...an 8:00 start....game 7 Red Sox/NYY.....PedrovsRoger...potentially Clemens last major league start......can you say RIDICULOUS.....people outside these 2 cities really have no concept of how big this game would be....

its not a crazy statement to say this game would probably be as big if not bigger than the Pats/Stl superbowl of a couple seasons ago....

i need to get one of the Sox logos under my name...can anyone help me out....(i had one at the other site)

i hate to jump on him b/c i feel like one of the hypocrite fans who only looks at the negetives and never the positives....but he has really hurt them in this series...its too bad b/c he's had a great career in boston up to this point...

fwiw...yesterday vs the yankees nomar was so pissed about leaving runners on 2nd and 3rd he slammed his helmet down so hard in the dugout his hand went numb for 5 minutes...during the inning warmups he fired 3 routine balls into the stands.......so you know this guy has all this on his mind and its obviously weighing heavily on him right now.....

I'm sorry but i could care less what Nomar feels like he's 1 person...... How many fans have been waiting 85 years?

Nomar should be the MVP of this Series for the Yankees if they win it!

cubs fans have been waiting a while longer LOL (not really).....speaking of the cubs....that team really has to be questioning if THEY are cursed like the beloved Red Sox.....i just found out a little while ago about the fans interference on that play last night...and i was completely blown away....how Chicago can come back from that tonight and win is beyond me....

ive been reading some cub message board the last couple hours and and the arguement is both ways....i dont want to say he COST them the game for certain but if Alou catches that ball and its now 2 outs..and a man on 2nd...one has to question how much damage would have been done.....

Ill tell you how they win, it's with Wood vs. Redman and at home. Boston was a BIG dog on the road and they need 2 games so that's why the Nomar error far outweighs the Cubs blunder.
