....but this is too good to pass up.
Minnesota is waaaay underrated right now. Saints are about as good as they've shown. A good team battling injuries, but surviving. They killed Frisco, lost to a Denver team on the road, squeaked by a dangerous division rival (TB) and lost at Washington.
The Vikings match up better with the saints than with their last opponent, Tennessee. This week, they will do the mouth smashing. AP will get welll over 100 yards. The Vikings struggled early on this year with the worst starting QB in the NFL by far. Now I realize Gus isn't even in the top 20 QBs in the league, he's still a good enough starter to win 10 games in this year's NFL. They'll put up 27 points.
The Vikings defense will present problems for N.O. Blocking JA will be a problem. The Saints will not be able to run. They are without Shockey and Colston and Patten, yet they've been scoring a ton so far. That stops tonight, when they face a heretofore underwelming pass rush that is ready to bust out. Home field means nothing in games like this. This isn't a "Katrina" game LOL. Saints will score 16.
Minnesota 27
New Orleans 16
Minn +3.5 (-125) --- 375/300
That's a fairly large bet for me. I never go over a dime anymore, and frankly it is my largest wager of the year so far. I'll only make about 9 or 10 bigger than this all season. That's how confident I am tonight.
Besides, I want to get past Phil Jr's Pack so I can
steal some of his Old Milwaukee.....
