may be big dog,but if you had played them every week,your bookie is the sucker,last week auburn opened at -6 at closed -4,this game opened a pick and is currently line #129 vandy -2-,i know the logic you are coming from,but this team just seems to keep playing ball,unlike some big schools that are use to winning,i don't look for this team to have any mental letdowns,but that being said,they can still lose a game !!

IMO these two teams look pretty even. Similar numbers, and just about the same opponent strength so far. Especially with the game being played in the state of Texas, saw yesterday the line went up to 7, hope it goes up a bit higher, that looks like a solid play.

The game's always played in Texas. I don't think that's a factor. The Cotton Bowl will be half OU fans. I've been to many of the games in this series. I agree with you though that these teams appear to be pretty evenly matched.

the books never show vandy any respect,let them win and cover about 3 more games,then you might start seeing some bigger lines,auburn was only 9- point favorite over miss state on the road ,and they opened 6 over vandy in nashville,i think its a fair line...

I LIVE IN NASHVILLE,everybody here unloaded on auburn-4,just saying people don't like to bet those crafty commodores and the books know it,just like every week the lines are 2 to 3 points higher than they should be on the dallas cowboys !!

I was a little perplexed by the OU/Texas line until I realized that none of the last 6 meetings have been decided by less than a TD. I guess if you like OU to win you have to like em to cover. If you like Texas, chances are you probably won't need the points. Just a thought...

Your right on the money with these two. Me too. 5-0 #13 ranked Vandy favored by -2.5 against 1-4 Miss St., what a joke. Miss St lost 3-2 to Auburn, by 10 at LSU, crushed by Georgia Tech, they're not terrible, and like I said they were ranked 20 positions higher than Vandy to start the season
