I won my first playoff selection with the Phillies Thursday as a small dog.

The Brewers still aren't hitting and left about 85 men on base Saturday. Their bullpen is carrying the team as it isn't allowing any runs right now. But the great Phillies lineup should breakout against Suppan who has been horrid the last few weeks and is in the rotation only because Sheets is out and they don't want to pitch Gallardo on short rest. He may get shelled. The Brewers got their win yesterday and seem prime to be eliminated. Joe Blanton is fine and pitching much better than Suppan. And....Brad Lidge still hasn't blown a save.

Joe Saunders has been outstanding and the Angels are 23-8 in his starts. I have a strong feeling LAA is going to avoid the sweep and they had numerous chances to win game two. The price is right here on a really good team that seems ready to break out....at least for one game.
