I'd be careful......... I'll most likely stay off the Sox and look towards a total play.
jake you really think the angels will be able to win game 3 after dropping first 2 home games ? joe saunders is a nice pitcher, but this is the biggest game of his career, in a ballpark he would rather not pitch at against the most clutch playoff pitcher in the game today, everything i'm hearing about beckett is that he's good to go without worry......
this was a heartbreaking loss for the angels, watching their record breaking closer give up a 2 run home run to JD Drew just minutes after the angels scratched and clawed there way back from a 4-0 and 5-1 defecit.....managers will tell you it's easier for a team to bounce back from a 10-0 defeat rather than a mental and physical defeat as bad as last night.....redsox game 3
As a group the Angels were 3-for-14 with runners in scoring position in Game 2. As a group they felt the game, and quite possibly the series, slip from their grasp. As a group they felt the momentum building time after time, heard the crowd cheering and beating their Thunderstix, and believed they would have enough, as they had 100 times before. As a group they came tantalizingly close to evening this series up.
"We had opportunities all the way through the game," said Angels manager Mike Scioscia. "We did a good job pressuring those guys. We just couldn't finish it off."
"It's tough to swallow," Hunter said, raising his voice in a hushed Angels postgame clubhouse. "I'm pissed. I don't want to lose. Not like that
