So the Tulsa-Rice total opened at 80 and since then has been bet down to 79. Can anyone remember the last time we saw an O/U in the 80s? I can't come up with one.

There might be more. I thought i remembered one last year. All i did was go to the 2 highest scoring teams with bad defenses that i could think of and it was Texas Tech and Hawaii. I looked back 5 years and came up with 2 total, one for each. I'm not sure of any other schools that would play with a total that high but there may have been one somewhere.

Yes, i would have to lean towards the under. They score alot but 80 is really high, especially considering the clock change in college this year. It doesn't stop after 1st downs and stuff like it used to and games are going much quicker. All it takes is 1 or 2 turnovers in the red zone and 80 will be tough to reach (IMO).

You might be right but did you see where the Florida coach said they are running 20 less plays a game on offense with the new clock rules? Games do seem to be going much quicker this year and a stop here and there and who knows!
