Exactly how long is "This long" chad? Are you too young to remember 4 divisions and 4 total playoff teams? It wasn't that long ago. These teams are lucky they doubled it and went from 4 to 8 playoff teams.


You also can't just eliminate regular season games Chad. It isn't that easy. You are talking about taking millions out of owners pockets from tv and the gate. You are also talking about record books and other things that would be affected. That simply isn't realistic.

How about being the team you were for the 1st 162 games and not choking. That's an easier fix!

Would it really matter if the Cubs played a 5, 7 or 9 game series? I don't think down 3-0, they would win a 7 game series either.
