All I can say is wow-what a turnaround.
When my wife attended that Sox/TB game on April 25 in St. Petes, a game won by Rays in the last of the ninth, I knew I wasn't watching the Rays of other years.
They made several great defensive plays in that game as well, which alone saved the game.
I had a feeling they would be vastly improved but never felt they would win AL East.
They showed their true mettle during the last two weeks of ther season when they won 2 of 3 in Boston(both won in 8th and ninth innings) and then 2 of 3 on their home field.
If Sox can't do it this year, the Rays are easily the team I want to see win the WS;like the Celtics, it would be a truly great rags to riches story.Comment
