after tonights heartless, gutless performance. no more needs to be said. they showed no passion, desire or will to win the biggest game of the season at home against the florida marlins. wow, dejavu!!!!! let a 22 old rookie beat them. the mets are done. mil, phils will make it. the mets choke 2 years in a row. too many problems with the bullpen. but what i will say, the bats once again failed in the clutch. DROD=david wright . they played this game like its the middle of may. hard to root for a team that just doesn't give a shit enough about winning or the fans!!!!!!! this is my last starting thread. as a diehard fan, i will say in final. i hate the lack of passion and fire of this team. except for johan santana, daniel murphy, carlos delgado. beltran, easily,this team has been full of underacheiving jackasses. this whole team has to go. can't choke 2 years in a row. just can't!!!!!!

santana gets the ball on 3 days rest after throwing 125. nolasco is a real nice pitcher. mets don't do well in pressure situations and now they don't control their own destiny. i'm embarassed to be a mets fan. their chances look terrible. i think they are done. no one to blame but themselves.

Wayne, they are a good team otherwise they wouldn't even be in contention for the playoffs and win 88 to 90 games the last 3 years. The Dodgers have won 83 games and they are in and they are considered better than the Mets 88 wins?

I think the Mets are a decent team, but when you have the worst BP in baseball, the part of a team that I think is the most important (by far), it's amazing that they are even close to the playoffs.
