Good point, USC needs to hope that ohio state has a nice run to finish the year to give their romp of them some value. If not, Ohio State will get hurt by losing to USC to way they did. I personally dislike the whole BCS system and the fact that generating the revenue is more important than finding a true champion..just my opinion....USC sure did choke real bad, how many media members were crowning them champs after seeing what they did prior to last night.

news flash: ohio st is and has been over rated for quite some time.

ahhhhhhhhh---the old controversial debate re BCS and who deserves to be # 1......

we'll only know at reg seasons end, and then the real debate can start....

We need a playofff system like all the other major/minor sports team do....IMO

If Oregon State now runs the table and ends up 10-2, or 9-3 in a big bowl, that will help USC immensely. Then if PSU continues to be strong and ends up 10-2 or so, Oregon State's loss to PSU is diminished, thus helping USC further. It's all interconnected!! But personally, I wouldn't give a team a chance at the BCS who lost as a 27-point favorite to a team with a losing record, even if they went 11-1.
