I cannot believe how much the Tigers have given up. Did you see their starting lineup for todays game at 1:05p EST? Wow...unreal, lots and lots of stiffs and young players. Detroit is just a really really bad ballclub right now and they just cannot wait to finish this season. Galarraga was a great story this year, the fact that hes 12-6 on the Tigers team this year is awesome, great young pitcher. However, today... The Rays can lock it up, they can officially win the east. Scott Kazmir is a great lefty and the Rays arent resting ANYONE. Rays look to clinch the East today.

Arizona -110 $110.00 to win $100.00
This is my theory of teams at home being just a pick em. I don't like Joel Pineiro and he is not what he used to be and we all know that. Arizona hasnt been officially eliminated tonight so they play their hearts out today and get a big win behind veteran Doug Davis. When teams are home and it's a pick em, go against them and pick the road team especially when playoffs are on the line. More times than not you say, wow, St Louis at home, yada yada pitching, thats a great deal ill take St Louis. Exactly, dont get trapped, more often than not home teams dont win at home at a pick em. I've been following this all season long and more often those road guys win St Louis isnt playing for anything except spoilers. Arizona doesnt want to get eliminated obviously and should be on top after 9 innings in St Louis today.

well then afternoon games were not good to me so we gotta make it up with the night picks tonight. here's what im going with, good luck guys

Chicago Cubs -120 $120.00 to win $100.00
The Met's have completely fallen apart like usual it seems towards the end of the season. The Mets have to win but they have NOTHING. Ok so if Pedro can somehow manage 5 innings, 4 innings you need to on that bullpen hold a lead? Not a chance. Everyone on the mets team is overworked. 17 games in 16 days STRAIGHT. Rich Harden is amazing and is back to being the dominant pitcher he has the potential to be. Pedro is DONE. It'll be a close one and yet another heartbreaker for Met's fans but the Cubbies will win this one behind Harden

Houston -210 $420.00 to win $200.00
I say it before it's only high juice if you lose. Roy Oswalt has been simply dominating against the Reds in his career. 22-1 to be exact with a 2.51 ERA. Bad or not, to be able to do that against ANY team is remarkable. Astros at home tonight and still have hopes of divine intervention and a playoff spot, they arent out yet and will win this one tonight behind their ace. Nothing against Cueto the starter for the Reds however he is 0-2 lifetime vs the Astros with a 6 1/2 ERA. Enough said.

Toronto -180 $180.00 to win $100.00
Toronto should have won last night hence I would have swept the board however, they will win tonight behind Roy boy. 14-5 lifetime vs the Yanks with a ERA just under 3. Pavano is garbage. He started out strong off the DL and now finally has come back to Pavano... crappy.

San Diego +100 $100.00 to win $100.00
Why is Greg Maddux again favored in any major league baseball game? Please someone tell me... is it because the linesmakers think Manny is going to smack a couple out? Probably. Greg Maddux last time vs the Giants (i know its the Giants,) however was favored -230. No way should he be favored, ESP that much. -120 might be fair however, it's Jake Peavy. Jake Peavy with one arm i'd take over Greg Maddux. What am I missing. Dont get me wrong, I love Maddux and think in his day he was a great pitcher but face the facts, he doesnt get himself past the 5th inning EVER anymore. Jake Peavy has potential to go deep in ballgames and his career agains the Dodgers has been phenomonal! 12-1 with a 2.21 ERA. Dont fall for the Dodger trap because the can lock up the NL West tonight, Peavy just had a little baby boy, he's amped, and should pitch his team past the Dodgers tonight. Maddux, LOL.

Im not even writing this one up...Barry Zito has pitched GREAT in the final couple of months of the season and Jorge De La Rose im not a believer in. Colorado has whooped ass in San Fran this series thus far but they hit a road block tonight, San Fran takes this one

def turned it around after an 0-2 afternoon start. ended up 3-4, -.7 units for the day. ill take it, big houston win at 2 units helped me not lose as much. we'll do it again tomorrow!
