Jeremy Shockey will miss 3-6 weeks after undergoing sports hernia surgery at some point this week, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Our View: The Saints' aerial attack loses another key weapon, as Marques Colston is already out with a thumb injury. Veteran David Patten is dealing with a strained groin as well. Billy Miller will be the acting starter, and will share reps at tight end with Mark Campbell.
