Adrian Peterson (hamstring) is active Sunday against Carolina, according to NFL.com's Steve Wyche. The news has since been confirmed by the Vikings.

Peterson could be limited some in the game, but he's so good that there's no way you could consider sitting him. Chester Taylor makes for a solid flex play in the matchup with a little risk involved, but good upside too. Gus Frerotte is lucky he'll be able to rely on a full backfield in his first start; he is going against a very talented Panthers secondary
