NFL Week 3
Notes:
Let’s stick it to your fat ass book today … you know … the dirtbag who gives you booze every Christmas and wants to take you to dinner and buddies up to you wanting to be your friend .... but deep down he wants you to pay for his idiot sons’ tuitions so that some day your kids can work for his.
Yesterday my Top NCAA Plays were 2-0-1 … with Tulsa and Ball St. winning easy games while luckily Iowa St. pushed in OT.
Last week in The NFL I was 5-2 on Top Plays and swept the Sunday Night and Monday Night action.
Top Plays:
Carolina , getting 3 vs. Minnesota and a Money Line Play on Carolina to win straight up ( looks like this game can go to +3 ½ … taking 4 would be much better of course )
Arizona taking 3 … this line is also shading to +3 ½ vs Washington and a Money Line Play on Arizona to win straight up
Kansas City + 6 … hunt around for a 6 ½ and make it a 7 .... to cover and possibly defeat Atlanta. ( Chiefs QB situation is in shambles but I’ll let you in on a little secret … so is Atlanta … Falcs’ QB Matt Ryan is no bargain )
Seattle giving 9 to roll The Rams , even though Holmgren is a lame duck coach
Oakland / Buffalo Over 36
Regular Plays:
Tampa Bay / Chicago Over 35
Houston / Tennessee Over 39
New Orleans + 6 over Denver
Cleveland + 2 ½ … (make it a +3 ) over Baltimore
Pittsburgh taking 3 ½ ( try for +4) to upset Philly
Tampa Bay getting 3 vs. Chicago … downgraded from Top Play and Money Line play to a Regular with nothing on the ML .
Houston ( 0-1 ) +5 at Tennessee ( 2-0 ) …. Doesn't this line seem odd to you ? It sure does to me . While I've found nothing one sided for this game , my 6th sense is telling me Houston gets the money. If you’re feeling particularly courageous ( and you’d better be, because wagering is mostly about taking the ballsy side … the team which scares the crap out of you … most bettors take the side which makes them feel comfortable in the gut and by now we know 999 out of 1000 bettors are long term losers … the root cause of this is because they are undercapitalized to begin with and playing with scared money … in all walks of life scared money screws up judgment no end and leads to failure ) … play Houston +5
Cincinnati at Giants … It would be so typical of NY flatten out a bit while Cincy comes in rip roaring to play. I just wish The Bengals weren’t 2-18 ATS vs. a > .700 opponent … but I have some decent stuff on them and negatives for The Giants . The Lord hates a coward and I’m playing them +14 and on The Money Line.
You should Pass because , not knowing your financial condition , it would be irresponsible of me to ask you to play them …. However , play Cincy in your pools and you should pick up a game in the standings against most of your competitors.
Sunday Night :
Top Play: Green Bay / Dallas Over 51
Regular Play : Green Bay +3
Monday Night:
Pass Side and Total … under the circumstances both teams have brutal past histories … rock bottom … and there is absolutely no edge in playing either side or total for that matter.
This is a good game to see who gives out what side and what total because anyone who touts this game has not done his / her homework. If you want , I can show you why.
