This is my first 3* play of the year as absolutely everything is in place and the price is reasonable.
A) Seattle last lost eight in a row
B) Oakland is 40-38 at home while the Mariners are 26-52 on the road
C) Seattle in its last seven games has scored, in order: 3,2,3,0,2,3,0 runs.
D) Oakland is 15-12 in Dana Eveland starts
E) Oakland is palying very well down the stretch and just won two of three from the Angels
F) Seattle is at the tail end of a long road trip, was swept by KC and showed zero heart in a 12-0 loss yesterday
G) Oakland played at home yesterday so has no travel while Seattle has to fly from KC to Oakland
H) Oakland's bullpen stats are far superior
I) Seattle's Hernandez looks worn out and has given up 21 hits in his last 18 innings.

NOTE: Brewers pitching change from McClung to Suppan. Suppan pitches on short rest and the Brewers bullpen was totally used up the last two games in Chicago. The choking Brewers' guts were ripped out yesterday when they blew a four run lead with two outs and nobody on the ninth to the Cubs. Cincy has been playing very well down the stretch against contending teams. Ramon Ramirez' two starts since being called up have been excellent.
