I played the USA +1.5 and Chad Cambell/Cink in the morning matches. 1-0 so far.
I just played Weekley/Holmes for the afternoon matches.
Watch out for Holmes and Perry this weekend. Esp if they play in a match together. Holmes and Perry are from the area and should get a lot of support. Talk has been of pairing the two. Jump on it if you see it.....GL

Don't know how many of you are watching, but JB Holmes and Boo Weekley are putting on a driving clinic and they are looking good going to 18 for a possible win. Thay are 1 up with 1 to go. Holmes is driving 350+....Holmes and Perry are still the play for the weekend.

Perfect jinx post....Weekley and Holmes dropped their tee shots on 18 into the water. Guess I'll have to be happy with a push now...

I think this is the American weakness, bad putting. IE: Cink, Weekley, Campbell, Perry, Holmes and even a struggling Furyk. Good strikers but matches are won with putts.
your kidding right ? on the putting ? Stewy has been one the best putters on tour for years, and CC is not shabby himself .... great match ups
Love Azingers choices- young guys that want to be there and not feel the need to be paid ! They are studs playing with some pride and representing the USA ! My hats off to them- that's the way it should be ....

Cink ranked 88th on tour and Campbell 113th. Both guys are better know for their striking vs their putting.
Also, Furyk is 133rd and Weekly and Mahan near the bottom around 195th in putting. Somewhat misleading stat because they are hitting the greens more often than the putting leaders. Even still these stats are horrible for top players.NBA is a joke

you read the stats too much... Cink and Campbell are both great putters... i wasn't refering to Furyk -Mahan ....
I'm going by putts per GIR not putts per round...if they are good ball strikers ...like you say - they hit the green ? you can look at it however you want...
to me, putts per round don't mean a thing . that just tells me my short iron game sucks !

Campbell Cink got waxed this am, say what you will Campbell is a below average putter, Cink average. Campbell will probably get benched this afternoon matches.NBA is a joke

Americans with a 9-7 lead going into Sunday. 12 points up for grabs with 12 individual matches. Anything can happen, a tie at 14 points total is not good enough since Europe are defending Champs they would retain the cup. Americans need 5 and one half points to win of the 12 points available.NBA is a joke
