Thought I would start a golf thread. Euros are the favorites -130.

My heart is with the Americans but my betting mind say take the Euros, therefore I am not betting it so I can just enjoy the competition.

This would be the upset of the tournament. US has to hope to get 2 of the other 3 points as the Garcia/Westwood pairing is as good as it gets in this format.

I agree.Perry has been throwing out top 10's all year though so if he can get it going and Furyk can throw in a magic bunker shot like he's known for anything can happen.Now there 1 down Cink and Campbell won't make it past hole 14.There going to get waxed

This pairing is weird, not sure I would have done this. Two good ball strikers who are not very good putters. I agree they probably lose this match.


I think this is the American weakness, bad putting. IE: Cink, Weekley, Campbell, Perry, Holmes and even a struggling Furyk. Good strikers but matches are won with putts.

I think thats why Sergio is with Westwood.We know Sergio can't putt but if he sees Westwood knocking some putts down it will start giving him more confidence.If we go 1-3 I would consider us lucky.

I was going to bet them....all the sports preview shows kept saying how the Euros were heavy favorites and that the Americans were huge underdogs. I had no idea of the price thought they would be -300 based on what I was hearing. You mean to tell me after all that shit I heard all week and they were only -130?!?! Fuck me I didnt take it because I thought the odds would be too high...why so low?!?
