That's absurd-I am a Sox diehard and have been for many years.
The Rays are at least as good as the Sox, and if you use the standings as your criterion, they are better.
Just because they don't have as many name players as the Sox, doesn't mean they aren't as good or better.
As stated before, if Celtics can come out of nowhere to win a championship, there is no reason why Rays can't do the same or at least be seriously in the running.
The fact that Sox won first game in this series 13-5 and are on verge of losing the next two is telling as well as their 1-8 record in Tampa this year and the Ray's two great wins at Fenway last week.
The Rays are a force to be reckoned with!

I am sorry for using the word absurd in previous post;everyone has a right to their own opinion.
That being said, for the Rays to come back and win the next two with so much ridingafter getting slaughtered in game one, is quite impressive.

Remember they went 0-6 in Tampa with Manny in the lineup.
The loss of JD Drew and Lowell at times and a few others along the way have hurt also.
Also, look at the Sox record;their record is very good, and might have won the division under normal conditions;the Rays record is just a tad better, and they showed what they are made of in the last week winning 4 of 6 from the Sox.
