I tried to find a reason NOT to be a square in this game by going with K-St. In reality, squares win sometimes too and i just can't take Louisville here. The whole Big East looks like a declining Conference this year and that includes Louisville. They lost alot and they looked very lost against Kentucky to me. I'm not sure if that same team i saw can look that much better tonight. On the flip side, i really like the speed and athletic ability on this K-St team. I also love QB Josh Freeman. This Junior QB won't be intimidated going into Papa John Stadium either. He went on the road to Texas last year and played mistake free ball in a shocking 20 point road win. He is very capable and very good. He is also off to a great start this season throwing no picks and holding a 75% completion rate. I think QB play in CFB is huge and as much as i've tried to find reasons to take Louisville, i can't find one and i simply can't go against Freeman in this matchup!

Yes vondie, i saw that. As most know, i look at trends and there are plenty more we could post. If you don't like the pick, play your own. I'm not religious to trends in CFB where many players change on a yearly basis. Most were probably not on the team for those 8 games.

Louisville is (1-5) Ats in their last 6 home games. Trends can be used to make an argument for any team in most games. At some point you need to look beyond them and at other things too ... like who is returning and who isn't.
