Wagering Action On Wash State-Baylor

I know a local who says he has taken 16 bets on Baylor and NONE on wash State. He attributes some of this to the game being moved to Friday and therefore getting more interest because it's an isolated game.

What has amazed him is the heaviness of the action on a team like Baylor which is hardly a marquee team. He, like everybody else, has been moving his line all week and is now up to -4 1/2 Baylor. he just wants to stop the action because he's exposed.

In my experience, when the public is this heavy on a game, they're usually wrong. On the other hand, I like Baylor, too.

I'm not suggesting the wagering should affect anybody's bet. It's just odd a semi-obscure game like this would have so much action on one team.

In my opinion, Baylor IS the play and is a much better team with a much better coach. it's possible it was just a bad line that the betting action is responding to.

I watched a lot of that Baylor/Wake game. I asked a friend to slap the shit out of me if I even talked about betting Baylor again this year. They're bad. They may be the right side tonight...don't know... but they are bad.

On the matter of the game, I did read from a Wazzou insider that the coaching staff and admin wanted this game to postponed and were not happy at all about rolling down there just today to play tonight. They arrived not long ago in Waco......
