Marques Colston underwent surgery on his thumb for a torn ligament and is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks.
This will test Sean Payton and Drew Brees, who each manage to find receiving yards in odd places. David Patten and Devery Henderson should step up as starters and be better fantasy WR3 options, although the Saints spead it around so much, no one is likely to be consistent. Jeremy Shockey should see more targets, and the Saints will rely more on Reggie Bush and the running game.
