Call it a homer play if you'd like, but I don't usually bet on OU. Actually, I'm glad I didn't this past weekend. I was thinking of taking the points and Cincinnati. They have among the best records in Norman of any home team record (56-2 under Stoops). The last 3 years they're 12-9 outside of Norman, including bowl games. From what I hear, Stoops and crew have been working on some of the issues associated with the Sooners' road woes. I think they've made it a priority. I'm gonna gamble that they've been able to figure some of it out for this weekend. If they don't do something spectacular this year, it will be a while. OK, it's sounding more and more like a homer play the more I write. I have a feeling the Sooners get it done this weekend. I think the line goes over the key number before the weekend so I'm playing it now.
