I lost a heartbreaker two weeks ago when I took the Pirates at +260 against Sabathia, only to lose in 12 innings. I'm trying to get it back and then some today. Milwaukee is struggling with a four game losing streak. CC is being overvalued right now because of his 9-0 record and the hype coming off the no-hitter taken away from him last start. SD is playing a little better and while their pitcher is making only his second start, he wasn't bad in his debut. In major league baseball, no team should ever be +375 so I'm taking a shot by going for the big score.
1* Astros +143
Houston is on a tear, winning eight in a row. The Astros have a good pitching matchup here as they are 14-7 in Moehler starts while Colorado is only 12-17 when Jimenez is pitching. Houston is a good team that was lost in the shuffle of the NL's strongest division. Colorado can't even contend in the NL's worst division.
Opinions only:
Rays (+185 on babseball's hottest team?????)
Angels (I like them whenever they are a dog)
