Every year, half the teams to make the playoffs didn't make it the year before. But every year, the pundits always pick the same teams that were good last year. Here's my list of surprise teams, both for better or worse........

    GOING UP

    Arizona
    St. Louis
    Detroit
    Jacksonville
    Houston
    Buffalo

    GOING DOWN

    New England
    Indianapolis
    Pittsburgh
    NY Giants
    Green Bay
    Seattle

Regarding the Giants. You think they'll finish worse than 10-6?

I agree with Seattle for sure. They're skilled offensive players are weak. I think AZ or even the 9ers could win that division. The Rams have a shot, but their D and O lines are a mess.

I do, I think losing Osi, Strahan and Mitchell hurts a lot. They were mediocre before akers missed that FG that would have kept them from the playoffs, then they just got hot. I think brandon jacobs is good, Not sure which eli we will see....they have some good things going on D...with their young saftey....Don't think they'll win more than 8 games this year.
          1 = $25

I think everybody in the NFC South is better; I wouldn't assume the Saints will be as good as you think. They look like an 8-8 team to me at best. Carolina and tampa are both better, I think,

I guess I'm saying they are not a Super Bowl type team. You're right, they may well be a wildcard type team as last year.

I agree losing Osi and Strahan hurt. They have a capable replacement for Mitchell.

The key is Eli. If the Giants get the Eli from the playoffs they'll win more than 10 games.

How many games do you think the Eagles win this season?

                  haha 16-0 baby!

honestly, 10-13.....We get the AFC north which shouldn't be hard....at seattle may prove tough but I think that's a bit of a revenge game fo them.....sweep the skins, split the giants and cowboys.....4 potential losses (the split and sea, @pitt)

Giants also get the AFC North as well as NFC West. We have the same schedule except for 2 games. The sites differ.

I chose to ignore his prediction. Typical Eagles fans dream.

Eagles close the season with 3 of last 4 games vs. division foes of which two are road games. They're playoff hopes will probably be determined by those 3 games.

The giants only won 9 last year. The Eagles won eight. Mcnabb was not healthy last year. This year he is. They win at least 10 games. The giants should also win about 10 games. The NFC East will have both wildcard teams again.
                            2010: 23-12 +37.8
                            2011: 4-0 + 20
                            09-11 5*s and up: 34-7

The Eagles strike me as a "been there, done that" type of team.

the whole east looks 10-6 to me.
