I don't understand why Bay is at 6? Guy is only batting like .340 since joining the team. I guess they put Kotsay at 5 to break up righties, but seems to make little sense.

If Sox didn't have to probably play Angels in the playoffs, I would feel quite confident about their chances to repeat and win WS.
Today notwithstanding, they are winning regularly with a number of regulars missing and without Beckett.
With the new guys performing extremely well, this should be one strong team once the regulars return.

                  Pedroia is unbelieveable!!!!!!!!

He has been hitting cleanup for almost a week now and he is 21 for his last 34 with 4 Doubles, 3 HR's, 12 RBI's, 4 Walks, 5 SB's and only 2 K's. That's all in his last 8 games. He LOVES hitting cleanup!!!

Every time he comes to bat for about the last week or two, all you here is the chants M-V-P!

                  The kid is unreal .........

I wonder who his chief rivals will be for MVP.

Then you have Ellsbury ... probably one of the best defensive OF's in the game right now. Billy Ball in Oakland called him one of if not the best OF in the game right now. He plays CF last weekend and on consecutive nights, he goes to left center than right center to make unreal diving catches. Last night in LF, he goes crashing into the wall in foul ground and makes a great catch. Today in RF, He goes flying into the bullpen and robs a clear HR. He has an amazing glove and the speed to reach them all!!!

On a side note Ozzie Guillen said over the weekend that Pedroia was one of the scariest hitters in the game right now and they do not know how to get him out. He is hitting the ball to every part of the park and Guillen started walking him over the weekend. The kid is 5 feet tall and weighs about a buck 20 and he is scaring the shit out of the other teams. It is awesome to see!

Josh Hamilton will probably win it.

Pedroia has at least 1 hit in 28 of the last 31 games. He has at least 1 hit in 58 of his last 64 games too.

He has reached base by either a Hit or Walk in 62 of his last 64 games!

He has had 2 or more hits in 31 of his last 64 games!

Here's one for you Fantasy guys ....

Pedroia has the 3rd most points in all of Fantasy baseball behind only Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman. He is the #1 ranked player in the A.L.

Before you say "No Way" for MVP ... Think about that for a minute. Maybe he does deserve it!
