This one goes Monday afternoon and I just played it for the same as Denver. That's supposed to tell you how much I like this play. I also have another reason for also playing this big.
First, this is all I'm going to play Monday. Why play anything else when it's not as good as this one. We all have streaks, both good and bad, although I will never figure out why we don't win for a day or so, then lose for a day or so and any streaks would be few and far between. But streaks are good if you know what to do when you are having one. Play a lot or play just a little, depending on the streak.
OK, this is what I'm leading up to. Call it truth in advertising. I love the play I'm going to tell you about but, in addition, I'm in the fourth day of a huge (for me) winning streak. I woke up Thursday morning with $21 in my offshore acct. I made a $300 deposit so I could play Temple for the first half against Army. That was the beginning of my streak. I'm only making three or four plays a day but my $21 has grown to 69 dimes. A few minutes ago my balance said 88 dimes.
What happened. Where did my 19 dimes go. They turned into the play I love for Monday. Most of my bet is at PLUS 4, with some on the Money Line and some on the first half at PLUS 2.5. Well, what do you think. Do you like them Bulldogs too. If some of you don't who I'm talking about, it's because a lot of the Mid Major WestCoast teams are not followed by those on the East Coast.
Jeez, the more I write the more I love this play. Rutgers had a Cinderella year in 2006 but last year they won and covered against the lessor teams, Buffalo, Syracuse, Army and Navy while losing and not even covering against the better teams, U Conn, Cinc.,West Virginia and Louisville, although what am I saying. Louisville,one of the better teams???
FRESNO STATE closed strong last year going 8-2 SU ending with a 40-28 Bowlwin over Georgia Tech. With 10 starters and most key reserves returning, they are now one of the better teams, the ones Rutgers can't wineor cover and start this year ranked in the top 25. a
It's up to you, but there is nothing wrong with taking a top 25 team as a dog, against what is now just an average .500 team in Rutgers. I'm banking on my hot streak continuing because Fresno State is my only play Monday. Now if I thought I couldn't lose and played every game on the board, that's when hot streaks stop.
