Tough to go against the Cubs, but I have to in this spot especially considering the price. Phillies need this game, Myers has been solid since his call-up (knock on wood), and I think if the bats are going to hit at all in this 4-game series, they should do so against Lilly.

Jimmy, just an FYI. You guys were blasting Charlie the other day for pulling Hamels, I just heard on 610 that Hamels asked to be pulled. He said he was done. The one thing I don't like about him he seems to put himself before the team.

I disagree completely, this dude hates to get pulled when he thinks he has things under control.........and I would much rather have a pitcher admit he is tired then try to force things. It just so happens that the outcome couldn't have been worse if he stayed in, but that is coincidence....fans have to stop trying to find a reason to hate....
