is it me or is this team starting to shit the bed??? i know they have a great record but haven't won there last 5 series and lost 2/3 to shitty oakland and are losing again tonight to shitty texas minus hamilton. teams slump, i know that but while there pitching has been great, their bats are not all season. 16th in the league in total BA. even with texiera, their offense hasn't improved much. imo TB is the team to beat

LAA are very,very good...they're just in a small slump and have no pressure to win. Don't even consider thinking this team wont be contending for the title this year, a 10 game stretch is nothing when you have a top 3 record in baseball and your division on lock

i agree with you that they are one of the top 4 in baseball. no doubt, but without there great pitching, is there offense good enough or healthy enough to carry them. lately i'm not so sure

16th in total BA doesn't tell the story for this offense, they play small ball with the best of them, and the offense has been muchh improved since acquiring TEX. imo redsox are still the team to beat if their healthy...beckett - dice k - lester is about as good as it gets 1-3

as far as betting them, lately with high inflated lines. every game they are minus 200+ . and they having been losing. almost took them tonight but took cubs instead. might just be smart to chill with them until playoffs???????

im still rolling on the ervin santana train, but i've chillled on saunders lately and garland all year...they will get hot again before the playoffs
