They said Kyle Kendrick threw 40 pitches in the pen last night around midnight. He is starting tonight and that could play a big role in this game. With that info from ESPN, i think i'll throw a few bucks on Santana now too and hope he can pitch 9 innings!

Extra inning game and they were going to use Kendrick. They didn't end up needing him but that may have worn his arm out a little bit ... you would think. They said he was throwing hard in the pen trying to get warmed up. It may be a good sign for the Mets tonight!
