Hey everyone, the game I have today goes against one of my usual rules of not playing the same team two days in a row but this is too juicy to pass up. The hurricane risk may postpone the game in which case I will have a different winner but for now this is the one and if it goes off the Dome will keep weather from being an issue.
Today's Pick:
TAMPA BAY DRAYS ML -107...where do we start, the Rays are an incredible 46-17 at home this season. As good as the Angels are, they have dropped 4 of their last 5 and the Rays own a 5-2 record against them this season including 4-0 at home! The Rays have actually won 5 of their last 6 and they have a pitching advantage to add to their run. Shields has been fantastic at home going 7-1 with a 2.21 ERA. He is simply not the same pitcher on the road which is fine for us in this home spot. Santana has been solid on the road with a 9-2 record but has not had success against the Drays in his career with a 6.21 ERA. I am looking for the Rays to continue to cruise and for the Angels to drop another one as they have a 15 game edge in their division and don't need this is badly as Tampa.
