I just completed my application online 5 mins ago...I got slotted into Field 1 in the new stadium, equates to $20K per seat (I have 2) for the right to spend another $1600 a season (until they jack up the ticket price). I had to put 20% down now, another 40% 8/09 and the remaining 40% in 3/10.

I had not heard the Jets were doing PSL's. I had heard they sent their season ticket holders a questionnaire asking them what the thought of PSL's...like some guy was going to respond 'Please rape me for all I have and make me pay $80K for my 4 seats'....

Article in the NY Post a week ago stated that there are 130,000 people on the Giants season tix wait list and the Jets was like 5,000...so I would think if they did PSL's, it would have to be less.

I feel like I just got fucked without any foreplay....

Help me understand. You had to pay 40 thousand dollars for the right to buy 2 season tickets?

They completely ef you in that all the decent seats (between the goal lines and below the upper deck) either go for a very high PSL ($20K) and expensive game seat ($160/game) or a lower PSL $7500 - $12500 and an OUTRAGEOUS game ticket ($400 - $700). The $400 - $700 are club seats and get you in to 2 different clubs, the $700 includes food and drink (no booze), the $400 & $500 don't inlcude the extras but gets you in the club. All three of those include parking.

My best friend has seats in section 233 which means he is in Mezz Club A...4 seats-$12,500 PSL each- $500 gamticket.

Season tickets will be $20K with $4K on 2 exhibition games that he can wipe his ass with and thats about it. You can't give away exhibition games. Pissing away $4K....

I will own the license for the two seats, for $20K each, and it allows me to buy season tickets every year, which as of now will be $160 per seat per game,...$3200 annually.

The one thing abut the high PSL is I can resell it however I want (e-bay? Stub Hub? Auction...), whenever I want as long as it is after March 2011, and the game tickets are reasonable COMPARED to the rest of the stadium (Upper Deck end zones are $95). I will make money on the PSL whenever I sell it so it isn;t the end of the worls...I feel bad for my buddy...he doesn't have $20K to shell out each season.

cannot believe people bitch about pats tix going up and parking ($40 is a lot). at least kraft did it all w/out PSLs, which absolutely screw the fans. even worse is having to pay full price for preseason, which are completely worthless.

so funny all these teams bitch about scalping, but then charge $20K for the privilege of buying tickets.

That is fucken ridiculous. What about the person who saves all year to keep their tickets. Now suddenly they need all this PSL money? I'm assuming it priced a ton of people out and truly disappointed many. That is alot of money for tickets. I can't imagine spending that much on it. That season ticket list will drop quicklky with those prices and this economy. I can't imagine everyone has 20 K to drop on tickets but maybe.

what i do is sell one reg. season game at face, but you have to take one preseason at face. works pretty well if you dont want to go to every regular season game (which i dont).

i'm actually down to going to one game a year if that. just not worth the investment of time/money/hassle when i can watch every game on directv. going to nfl games (reg season) very overrrated IMO.

OK for teams to scalp their own tix. what a joke.

I usually sell the last pre-season game with a regular season and get face for both, like you recommend. I sell on e-bay and it is tough to get someone looking for reg season games now, which makes it hard to sell tonight sgame. Too early!
