Tradesports INFO!!

I was wondering if any one has made any money using this site. I admit it feels interesting but I'm not sure I understand the ins and outs. If anyone has either made or lost $$ there I would love to hear their take and insights. I'll be listening. Thanks in advance

I liken it to a sports players stock market. It seems like Buy low sell high will work here like the stock market. I personally have retired and continue to actiuvely manage my own stocks and funds and this seems interesting. Anyone use it??

Sorry Tradesports-

I dont like your operation at all. I have played there twice over the last two years. The idea sounds great!! I love the thought of a combination of bid/ask and intra-game betting.

The problem is that Tradesports has a TON of problems, so much to me that I wont do business there again.

The premise is good but the largest problem is that there isnt enough interest to make this a market. I would compare the market on tradesport to that of the Philly exchange for stocks. The spread on the MAJORITY of the games is way too wide. Why list a game and have nobody participating, and have no support from tradesport to make a market?

Tradesport should either belly up and support every single game and side, make it a pure market, or get out completely. Seeing a game where the bid is 35 and an ask of 70..you think I might be joking, but more often than not it is the case.

I would rather play at a place like Wsex where there is more interest and the games are limited..which is fine, but at least when I see a game I know it is going to be supported.

The best solution? Combine all these little players into a BIG exchange and have one location where all these players come together to make a market. Tradesport seems to me to want to collect the commissions without being a true market maker. Market maker takes tons of risk on all stocks..Tradesport either needs to limit the games and clean up the horrible bid/ask problems or be a true market maker and take that risk.

That is problem one..there are several other huge problems that I have, but this message is getting too long.

I say this being an avid stock market trader/speculator and knowing this betting niche quite well.

If anyone wants other reasons not to bet there, let me know.
