Atlanta Had A Great Pitching Staff I Agree But Do You Realize How Many Runs He Saved The Starters So They Could Have That Nice Era.he Played The Shortest Center Field Of Anyone I Have Ever Seen.stopped At Least 1 Run A Game In My Opinon And At Least 2 Base Hits Every Game.he Could Come In On A Ball Like None Other.and Really Never Saw A Ball Get Behind Him

I THINK A GREAT DEFENSIVE PLAYER THAT CAN SAVE RUNS PER NIGHT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS A STARTING PITCHER

Not when his bat keeps him from sniffing the lineup!

I am being sarcastic but, in all seriousness, their starting pitching has been very good.

So has the Phillies...problem is this lineup is underachieving to no end...especially since the AS break

Please...Philly starting pitching blows. 9th in the NL and almost a half run higher than the Mets.

Not lately it hasn't with the exception of KK the other night. The offense has scored 3 runs or less in about half the games since the AS break.

Similar to Santana's lack of run spport, Hamels has pitched in 9 games this season giving up 3 runs or less and is 0-4 w/5 NDs.

They are avg close to 4.5 runs per game since the AS. What do you want, 6?
