Double Standards

These Olympics have brought to the forefront the worlds double standards against America.

First, there's the controversy surrounding Spain's basketball team. I can only imagine the worlds outrage if it was the American's that mocked slanty eyes'

There's also been the ongoing controversy regarding the Chinese female gymnasts. Anyone with half a brain can tell these girls are 12-14 years old, if not younger. Once again, the world would crucify the American team if we 'cheated' in the same fashion.

Don't forget the American who was stabbed and killed. China left that story off the news and out of all newspapers. I guess when you are communist, you can hide things like that.

They had on their web that she was 12 or 13; then they take it down and say she is 16, but 'tiny for her age' LOL ; knowing these commies, she probably sleeps in a tuna fish can

She was lip syncing. The real girl was down on the field singing the song behind a screen. She was a great singer but the chinese government said she was not cute enough to represent their games with everyone watching. So they went and found the cutest girl they could and had her practice the lip sync while telling the other girl she would have to hide behind a screen and sing.

Simply pathetic and fucked up (IMO).

Exactly. I would hate to see what would happen if a Chinese family member was murdered here during the games. They would probably start a war and pull out of the Olympics. The family deserved their due respect, even in a foreign country!
