I was a "little" in a hurry today but THAT IS NO EXCUSE for the Yankmes pick......Granted it is 5-0 Sox and only the top of the seventh and they could come back BUT this Yankme team has cost so many so much chalk money this year that it is a bad bet whether on a parlay or straight up......MY FAULT.....

Even if this somehow covered by a miracle it will be the LAST NYY chalk bet laid....parlay or not.....this is a VERRRRRRRRRY overrated and underachieving team playing mediocre ball vs a tired and depleted Sox team. KUDO's to the Red Sox and my bad for over rating a Twins team that I thought could handle this just above average Yankee team.......

For the first time in a long time (I AM A BIG A.L. FAN) the winner here in this series appears to be playing for second place in the World Series this year........Cubs or Marlins...and my lean is to Florida to win it all.....but one of those two are right now playing with more skill and heart (sans the Sox gutty performance tonight) than this AL contest.....I realy am more and more impressed by the Red Sox resolve and the Yankees lack of it.....AS ALWAYS.....JMHO......Goldv

I've got to to have a Wisdom tooth extracted tomorrow so I may be somewhat incomunicado for the games but I'll post what I study FIRST.........CRAP with that stupid parlay (losers delights) you would think I had the Wisdom extracted tonight!!!

Goldvike and John-neither of you ever have anything to apologize for because you are both superb cappers.
Obviously I am biased being the huge Sox fan I am.
However, that being said, I have to take exception that national league will win the WS.(I believe Goldvike said it).
If (and it is still a huge if) Sox ever defeated Yanks, after 85 years and with great momentum going, I think they would be in great position to take it all especially against the Marlins.
Do you remember what happened when Marlins came to Boston in June? Marlins lost first game 25-8. They pulled miraculous rally coming from 7 runs to defeat Sox 10-9.
In game 3 Sox prevailed 11-7 in a game they led by 7 runs at one point.
I realize you can't extract too much from regular season, but personally I think Sox can do everything Marlins can and do it better and would look for Sox to prevail rather easily.
Cubs-if Sox get there, well that's tougher.
Oh well, that being said, Sox still have to win 3 more against Yanks and that is no easy doing.

My Twins are out and I for one over-rated them........AND I am a Red Sox believer.......for them to win this game.....tired.....travel......Damon gone AT LEAST 2-3 Games and having to start Wakefield........HATS OFF AND KUDOS TO THEM!! I AM ONLY MAD AT MYSELF........This New York Yankee team burned me more this year than all others COMBINED and I am just only venting at my own stupidity for laying the chalk on them......especially when it dumped the easiest of parlay halves with the Cubs tonight......what a shameful waste of of solid Cubs win......all because of the the guys of a team from now I know how they got their name......"THE BRONX DROPPING BOMBS IN BIG GAMES".....

They may or may not get by a valient and depleted Red Sox team.....but if they do......I do not hold them in a high state of chance to win anything but plane tickets to and from either Florida or Illinois Airports.......that is what I really meant by the NL taking the Series......BESIDES......ITS NOT VERY OFTEN YOU GET A CHANCE TO SEE STEINBRENNER BLOW AN AORTA ON NATIONAL TV AND THE HOST TEAM WOULD ONLY ASK IF HE WOULD LIKE MUSTARD WITH THAT CATSUP FOR THOSE HOTDOGS!!
