Got my winner nice and early this morning! To be honest, I liked it right when I saw the line last night..
Today's Pick:
SAN DIEGO PADRES RL -1.5 +140...you may ask why the RL when the ML is only -120 but this game won't be decided but one run...Chris Young has been solid his last 2 outings giving up 2 runs in 10.1 innings. In his last outing against Colorado he shut them down as well...While he isn't having the season most expected him to, I fully expect him to effectively limit the Rockies scoring this afternoon. On the other side, we get mr. Livan Hernandez ( a former fave of mine in his Expos days) who has not had a good year despite his 10-8 record..His numbers at home are better but don't be fooled because A)this is a new home and B) this new home is now a grass field where he is 2-6 with a 7.22 ERA! San Diego has been scoring enough runs lately to take Livan down big time and this RL should hit for a nice +140 payday!
