Tom Crean - Indiana

For any members who follow Indiana Basketball....I had the pleasure to have lunch with Tom Crean the other day at Moe's Steakhouse in Indianapolis. I think there was about 40 people (funders) attended. This guy is a stud. He speaks better than most people i have ever listened to. Motivation - wow, now i know why they gave this guy a 2 year extension without ever coaching a single IU game. He mentioned one thing, if you bet on 3 point attempts in the Big Ten, he expects to be at top of the list, because they have no inside presence. Guys and Gals, I think this guy is a true winner, one that people here at BC can relate to, with no anscillary bullshit that usually comes with... Lets follow this guy over the next couple years and hopefully I can get the dust off this post and share again...

as a louisville fan, we battled well coached marquette teams every year he coached there. he hates louisville and we didnt like him either

Not that this matters but I graduated from marquette in 1986 and I walked into that luncheon with defeat on my face from the get go. I left feeling good about listening to some positive stuff which i never hear anymore in the media. Marquette has always battled Louisville in fine fashion and I dont doubt that the competion will surrender in the nearby future.
