they guy is severely underachieving this season no other way to put it
I know chase had some high expectations going into this year but it's hard to consider .290 28 hr 78 rbi severly underachieving with 50 games left in the season......now J-Roll on the other hand he's definitely underachieving

C'mon man, look at his career average...but more importantly, he's hitting .246 (probably worse after tonight) w/RISP...IMO, that is the most clutch stat there is...not to mention his average since May 1st have been bad.

The guy hit .332 last year...he is currently .43 less this season...IMO, if you think last year wasn't an aberation (as I don't), then you have to say he is underachieving especially considering his futility w/RISP.

              Utley already 0-3 tonight, 0-2 w/RISP, and 5 LOB.

You asked for them to score a run, they scored 2 in the 1st. Man, you are never happy.

                        ok...I was doing the same

At least Myers and Blanton look good now...I can't remember the Phillies getting this good of pitching in a long time...problem is, I can't remember the hitting doing this either.

The last 2 games have had my blood boiling. To lose to Florida at home with your Ace on the hill is inexcuseable. That was a big game. And then last night...I'm glad there isn't a hole in the TV.

They are 9-16 against FL and NY this year...their bats are somewhere other than Philly...it is very strange to watch this team right now.

All I keep hearing on the Phillies board is "the bats will come around." Well, it's game 116 of 162, not much time left, and as I keep saying, it is what it is this deep into the season.

J Roll and Vic seem to be getting hot so hopefully Utley will follow. Without Feliz the lineup is brutal after Pat. Watching Bruntlett try to get a hit is like chopping my own balls off.
