  • Bookmaker help Wayne

Do not play with Bookmaker.I deposited several hundred dollars to them and now they say my bank denied the transactions.BS,I know the transactions went through. They have turned me over to a collection agency in Ohio which pisses me off to no end.How can a collection agency go after someone who supposedly owes a debt which is illegal in the US.Also how do I dispute this?Wayne, can you help me with this?I pay my bills and my credit is awesome.I'm mad as hell and want to know if I have anything to worry about by refusing to pay this.

    Thanks

I am not Wayne but I can help. Collection agencies are the newest hot item now with all the defaults so I am not surprise that this bush league agency is contacting you. Your book is probably assuming another name to maintain some kind of legit service to trick your credit card or bank will use them. All you need to do is get the reciepts that show that the money was credited to your account and get it to the collection agency. Then it is in the collection agency hands to prove that you are wrong. According to the Fair Debt Collection Act the agency must prove you wrong. The have 30 days if not you have a suit.... If you need further assistance I will be glad to help.... I am in the banking business

first of all you need to tell them that you have contacted your lawyer and he has informed you that you will ONLY have contact via fax. Tell them they need to fax you the information and they will continue to say their nonsense but just tell them you will ONLY deal with them via fax so you have hard copies of their information...

there is LITTLE chance they will fax you anything..if they do, threaten to press charges for harassment..they'll leave you alone because they don't want any kind of legal problems.

This is a little off topic, but if in the future you simply send them or any sportsbook the funds via Moneygram Or Western Union, you will NEVER run into a problem like this.

I was once bothered for a situation kind of like this and in the end I sent a collection agency after the collection agency after me and they stopped bothering me...later i found out about the fax story through a friend to keep them quiet

JC you are so right!!!!!! I just went to Walmart and got a prepaid Visa. I just use that just for my offshore. It only cost 4.64 to load my card and I get instant credit instead of having to wait for moneygram or western union. I will never trust these people with my real bank account or credit card.
