Gas Can A Rodney comes in and actually throws 3 gem innings then they get another from Dolsi and gas can B Zumaya comes into save the game in the 14th and after getting fucked by Renteria on the 2nd out of the inning Zumaya cant get the 4th out and gives up the 3 run bomb to Swisher.
First fuck this team and their 138 million payroll because they entered the season with no pen and still dont have one.
Second why was the slowfooted Renteria even in the game in the bottom of the 14th when they had Infante on the bench who is the much better defender...Leyland is slipping bigtime making these obvious moves.
Third why the fuck is Renteria even on this fucken team.....they lost Jurrjens and prospect Gorkys Hernandez for a guy who cant hit AL pitching and is over the hill and slower than dog shit.
I have no problem with the Miggy Cabrera trade since he is so young and can kill the baseball but they took on Willis who was obviously not the same guy he was on 05/06 and gave him 30 million before he even pitched a fucken game for us.
I guess thats what happens when the fans fill the seats.....the owners start opening up the checkbook and the smart GMs start making stupid moves.
Tigers have drained their farm system for Sheffield, Renteria, Willis and Miggy and only one of them is remotely productive and Miggy is making over 19 million a year.
What fucken looked so bright in 06 now looks like an overpaid, old team like the New York Yankees......fuck this shit.
Its been fucken proven you dont need to spend crazy money to win yet these stupid fucken teams once they get their hands on a few bucks decide its best to sign overpaid, over the hill vets......FUCK FUCK FUCK.
Yes I had $$$ on the Tigers tonight and that made me fume even more and I wouldve really blown a gasket if Seattle didnt win that game.
This game all but secures the Tigers staying home in October since a win tonight couldve gotten them to within 5.5 of the lead and now they are 7.5 out and lost 3 of their last 4 vs the Sox and 3 of them were late inning fuck jobs by the weak ass pen.
I know its not over till a team is officially out and a 7.5 game lead in early August isnt nothing but this team is weak, very weak. And yes I know the best team doesnt always win the series....just the best one come October if they are lucky enough to get in so there is slim hope for this year but the future looks dim if they keep making stupid choices such as the ones they have made the past 2 years.
With that said I have been winning since Saturday after slumping most of July and will post what I play starting tomorrow....sorry for venting but tonight took the cake for me.
