Also, keep in mind, Lou is really focusing on resting guys also. He pulled Zambrano, who was pitching well, after 5 innings the other day, just to "cut him short and rest him" with a 5-2 lead, and the game ended 8-5 Cubs.
Keep in mind that Harden is still on a pitch count. Last time out he threw a season high 105 pitches. Not sure they will let him go that hight again. With that said, he also strikes out a lot of guys...I think 39 in 4 games, so even when he pitches well, his pitch count goes up quickly. So it is possible he only goes 5, 6, or 7 innings, and then the bullpen comes into play.
Marmol has pitched 3 of last 4 days. And bullpen got some work because of rain delay last night (Dempster having to be pulled after 1st delay)
