I said the same when trade was proposed, and although not much can be made of two games, based on what I have seen here and in the games in which I saw him play on tv on the MLB Network with the Pirates, I am (and have always been) impressed with him.Originally posted by LVJimmy

I've seen him play almost everyday. It's funny how you guys are all over his nuts already. The guy swings in the same place every time. Pitchers just seem to hit his bat every once in a while. It won't last!!No one called anyone a JTComment

His average is solid too. I've seen him play many games through MLB Extra Innings the last few years and he will hustle and give a great effort. After Manny, that is all they are looking for. The kid may blossom in a place like Fenway. You don't know and i don't either but one thing is for sure, the pressure has not bothered him in the least in the 1st two games.Comment
